Whilst I may not be getting out in the garden any time soon I only need to read a few posts from previous years to see what usually happens at this time of year :
In the greenhouse any excess cucumbers can be pickled .
Remove excess leaves from your tomato plants to encourage last of the fruits to ripen.
2009 may be a distant memory but it was a good year for fruit – unlike this years efforts. There was a plentiful crop of chillis and apples.
Finally if the weather permits here’s a list of things to be doing in the garden in September.
