Story: A Thousand Times Good Night starts when world-famous war photographer Rebecca (Binoche) has her latest job. She goes undercover to see how a suicide bomber team operates seeing first-hand how they prepare. Rebecca finds herself near the blast getting injured in the process.

In the aftermath, her husband Marcus (Coster-Waldau) comes to escort her back home to their children. Rebecca looks to find a new life away from the conflict zones she is used. However, her daughter Stephanie (Canny) wants to follow in her footsteps and they go into the field together. This changes Stephanie’s life as she learns more about the troubles in the world.

A Thousand Times Good Night is a drama following a war photographer that has started getting too close to the action. Her family back home is becoming scared that she won’t return one day and she is left to make a difficult decision about her future.

This is a powerful drama showing a different side to life around world-famous photographers. It shows that back home they have families that are scared about their safety and getting tired of worrying. This puts together the bigger question about what is right and how people should react in this world.

The performances from Juliette Binoche and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau are both fantastic. They get to bring out the raw emotion of not knowing what could come from life.
