So it seems there was this designer that had a bit of cheekiness to his designs. But his execution was always pristine and captured an element of handcrafted luxury. Now as the story goes, it appears not only did he construct his clothing with tongue in cheek charm but also his shoes as well. Again this is the story as it was told to me but it went from epic tale to actual belief after seeing his Spring Summer Double Monkstrap Mocassin. With the hand stitched elements, the sandwiched white sole and the double buckle adornment, this spring 2012 shoe was all I needed to early anchor the wonderful fall 2012 show in my brain as a charming Milanese designer to watch.
