I’ve added a few new pages to my website, and I’m using a few Alentejo cegonha (stork) photos to tell you about them. Not because there’s stink-eye involved (none whatsoever!), it’s only because I thought of a bird and its nest when I considered the questions which prompted me to build these new pages.
The types of (non-commercial) questions I receive through this website and social media (Twitter, Instagram, G+, Facebook, Flickr, forums, etc.) generally fall into these categories:
- tourism, either about Porto or traveling in Portugal;
- exploring Portugal as a possible expat country;
- logistics of moving to Portugal;
- practical stuff after arriving in Portugal;
- working in Portugal;
- social life/activities in Portugal.
Thus, I’ve created these pages:
Expat Life – Gail at Large in the media, plus a list of posts in the Expat Life category
At Large In Portugal – travel around Portugal
Life In Portugal – a list of online resources for new residents and those interested in moving to Portugal
The last page, especially, is a work in progress and could use your help in staying up-to-date. In the meantime, I hope those searching for information find them useful. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, feel free to ask.
