Metallics have always played a strong role in home decor, but the on-trend metallic for the incoming season seems to be copper. This precious metal has evolved from a patina-like finishes to a very sleek and shiny surface. Thanks to its new renaissance, I've been seeing an avalanche of copper furnishings everywhere I go. From kitchen appliances to trendy bicycles, the selection is quite extensive. Its beautiful color makes it easy to mix with other natural materials and works beautifully with pastels, grays and earth tones... and of course, black.
