Police has reported that two school students who were swimming near the Polgolla dam in Kandy has drowned yesterday evening (09).
One of the students managed to survive and is currently receiving treatment at the Katugastota Hospital
The deceased student is a 17-year-old student who was studying in the 11th grade of Katugastota Zahira Vidyalaya, living in Nittawala area, Kandy.
