Include a Horse (especially a 20 year old Arabian horse), a Goat (although I am not sure the goat was intentional) and a Dog in a wedding and you already have my full attention. Nikki & Marc's gorgeous wedding is proof that if you think outside the box with your venue, include the people and pets that you love, and splash out on the things that rock your world, you have all the ingredients you need for a unique and meaningful day.
And I must mention the head wear on Nikki's horse (must find out where she got it) how beautifully boho is that! WOW. A huge congrats to the loved up couple, and a massive thank you to Ben & Sirjana from Tinted Photography for sharing this super sweet shindig with us.
These two are so visibly in love and their love is so emotive that we could not put our cameras down, even for a second. - Tinted Photography

Tell us the one quality you love most about each other?Who Nikki & Marc
When 28th March 2015
Where Ton & Mary Dekens property - ceremony and reception. I am a total country/horse girl and this property is very country/rustic with an amazing relaxed, casual feel and as I really wanted to involve our arabian stallion in the wedding, it was perfect as he was able to be stabled on the property. I also wanted a more personal touch to my wedding so was able to do this at Dekens.
My work New Plymouth Vet Group were out on our Mid Winter Xmas Do at Arborio Restaurant, where Marc was working as a Waiter - as cliche as it probably sounds, it really felt like it was love at first sight.
Nikki His caring nature
Marc She's down to earth
In three words describe your wedding style... Rustic, country, relaxed.

Did you DIY? If so what did you do? The reception decorations and table flowers.
Marrying the love of my life and having all of our friends and family sharing our special day. Especially having Marcs Dad, Mum, Sister and Niece there - they came all the way from Germany - it was the first time his mum had been on an Aeroplane!
Having our Arabian stallion (who's 20 years old, and we have had him since he was 2) at the wedding was very special to me.
Having my brother drive me and my bridesmaids to the ceremony and having mum and dad walk me down the aisle.
I dont feel there was anything I would of changed, just more time on our wedding day would of been nice as it went way too fast!
Don't stress about the wedding - but don't leave things that need to be done till the last minute. Be organised and have good time management. Enjoy your time together.
We are went to Thailand for our honeymoon and I was also bridesmaid while we are there for Cherie, who was my bridesmaid.
Nothing has really changed since being married - being with someone so special and finding that true love is amazing! Having the commitment that we will be together for the rest of our lives is pretty awesome!
