A Royal Treat at ‘The Nook’

By Rohit Dassani

‘The Nook’ is one of the new additions in Vatika Business Park, Sohna Road, Gurgaon. The place is divided into two parts – one housing a premium bakery and the other having fine dining apart from there banquet hall. We decided to go for the fine dining one as it serves North Indian, Continental and Oriental cuisines. The menu had some interesting items like the Biscuit roti, Chinese Crispy Noodle Soup, Kathal Ki Biryani and so on.

The moment I stepped in I was awestruck at the décor with wooden ceiling and velvety carpets. The place was splendid with a semicircular bar at one of the sides. The tables and chairs were as if at a royal darbar (courtyard of a King). The ceiling was decorated with colored glasses and lights were protruding as if in a sci-fi movie. We were accompanied towards out table and greeted with a complimentary fruit juice shot and Bread basket. The bread basket needs a special mention as it had freshly baked items which were served with butter. We then tried the:-
