This week's playlist ahead of the Rolling Stones London Walk is entitled Alexis Korner For Beginners.
The guru of British blues, Alexis Korner welcomed a generation of American bluesmen to London and offered them a place to stay, nurtured a generation of British bluesmen including The Stones, and educated a further generation and more with his BBC Radio shows.

Thursday is Beatles And Stones Day with London Walks!
The Beatles Magical Mystery Tour meets at 11am every Thursday
Street Fightin' Men The Rolling Stones in London tour meets at 2:30pm every Thursday
Both tours meet at Tottenham Court Road Station (exit 1)
