Way back in mid-October, we had big plans for our review of Rogue's Dead Guy and Dead N' Dead Ales...
This tasting was originally going to take place at Murder Table Studio B, aka The Alemonger's kitchen, and our plan was to do a side-by-side tasting of both beers with a Halloween theme that would consist of spooky lights, skeleton gloves, a tombstone or two, and bad imitations of Count Floyd, Dracula, Dr. Frankenstein (the Gene Wilder version of course), and any other Dr. Shock's Creature Double Feature horror movie character that popped into our heads. Sadly, and as is usually the case, circumstances beyond our control (i.e. our day jobs, kids, and numerous family obligations) got in the way, so Limpd and G-LO went with our traditional format and reviewed just one of the two beers that Rogue was kind enough to send us way back in early October.
Since we are quite familiar with Rogue's Dead Guy Ale, we decided to give the new-to-us Dead N' Dead Ale a whirl. Before we get to the review, here's what Rogue had to say about Dead N' Dead:
