Today's video features a review of an Irish Whiskey that Limpd holds very near and dear to his heart, the Midleton Very Rare Vintage Release 2019. While he's a huge fan of the elixir that comes in the bottle, it's the Pretty Shiny Packaging that the annual Vintage Release comes in which makes this an almost annual purchase for my Irish Whiskey loving friend. So in addition to discussing the whiskey, we will also discuss the bottle and the beautifully craftedwooden box it comes in.

This particular bottle was gifted to Limpd by His Better Half for his 53rd birthday. Before we get to the review, here are a few words about the 2019 release which were taken directly from the Midleton website:

The 36th edition in our renowned and highly collectable range has been officially unveiled. This latest vintage release is a masterfully blended Irish whiskey from distillates laid down at Midleton Distillery, Co Cork, over the past four decades. Crafted by Master Distiller Brian Nation, Midleton Very Rare 2019 combines only hand-selected single pot still and single grain Irish whiskeys of exceptional quality and rarity within the Midleton Distillery, with each whiskey having been matured exclusively in lightly-charred ex-bourbon American oak barrels for between 13 and 34 years. This marks some of the oldest whiskey every used in a Midleton Very Rare vintage release.
