A Review of Maine Beer Company Spring India Pale Ale

By Boozedancing @boozedancing

On today's episode of A Tasting at The Murder Table, we try a brand new Craft Beer release from one of our favorite breweries, Maine Beer Company. The beer's name is Spring. It's an IPA brewed with four different hop varieties (Amarillo, Cascade, Simcoe, and Ekaunot), six different types of malt (American 2 Row, Blue Ox Pale, Blue Ox Vienna, Carahell, Carahed, and Special 8), and clocks in at 6.5% ABV.

We've been fortunate enough to review many a Maine Beer Company brew, and we gotta say, they have never disappointed us. Here's what they have to say about Spring:

Spring is our take on an American IPA tailored for days when we start looking forward to warmer weather. We blend iconic American hops with new varietals. Enjoy this beer fresh, but especially around the vernal equinox.Spring will be an annual release available to all markets in limited quantities.

Full disclosure, while we try our best to go into these reviews with zero bias, given our past experiences with this brewery, we most definitely went into this tasting with high expectations. To find out if Maine Beer Company pleased us once again, click the play button on the following video:
