A Quick Note About My Moderation of Comments Here
Posted on the 07 May 2015 by William Lindsey @wdlindsy
Dear Folks,
As those who've been following this blog for any length of time may know, I like to try to respond to any comments here that address me directly — or that seem to be directly addressing a posting I've made. For comments responding to other commenters, I try to acknowledge that I've read them by hitting the like button, but I try not to intrude into conversations that are between other folks in threads here.
You may have noticed that I'm responding to comments here sparingly of late. I wanted to let you know that I'm reading all of your comments as usual, and I welcome them, but I'm pacing myself a bit more as I deal with your comments. Please don't think I'm ignoring you, or that I don't appreciate your comments, if I respond less constantly than I have done in the past.
In the case of comments addressed to me that seem to demand my direct response, I've been trying to provide such a response, and will continue doing so. Otherwise, I'm pleased to see so many folks carrying on conversations here that truly don't need my direct intervention — and which may well be better conversations if I don't intrude into them.
