Who couldn’t resist a red lipstick, right girls? A’pieu Roselure Lipstick in Lavaglut is
just one of those red lipsticks that I can’t easily ignore. I should at least
own one shade from this line, is what I thought when I first saw it. Yes, I am
like that; one product for every makeup line, I don’t usually hoard and splurge
all for that!
Anyway, I bought this A’pieu Roselure Lipstick together with my Missha Everlasting Rouge from Bae Lu. (Read: Review | Missha Everlasting Rouge) And if you’re going to make me choose between the two, I won’t hesitate to choose this, A’pieu Roselure Lipstick. You will know why after reading this review.
Let’s start with the packaging. A’pieu roselure lipstick has
a very simple yet elegant packaging. The box has a floral design, but doesn’t
have any English-written information. The lipstick itself is packed in a sturdy
silver-and-red with a clear cap.
Lavaglut has deeper red color than shown in this photo. I
tried my best to capture the exact shade of lavaglut but this is the closest
one. If you’ll also notice, there is a teeny tiny hint of pink on lavaglut. Lavaglut
sure is a very cool name, right? Lavaglut is a very red rose. :)
I really like how this shade makes my skin brighter. This is
the exact red lipstick that I’ve been looking for since forever. A’pieu Roselure Lipstick gives enough moisture
to my lips and has a moist-finish. Unlike your regular lipstick, this one
doesn’t have a pointed tip, but a round-slanted one. It also settles on the
lines of my lips. This lipstick has a soft, creamy texture that makes it easy
to apply and glides on smoothly to the lips. There’s also a bit of rose scent,
but barely noticeable.
Talking about the pigmentation, Roselure lipstick has a really good one. One swipe on your lips is enough to have the red-color you want, apply one more layer if you want to intensify the look and I am sure that Lavagut won’t let you down.
The only downside of this product is that it transfers. Roselure lipstick will stay on your lips for 4-5 hours even after eating. But I’m not saying that it will look like your lipstick haven’t been touched at all, it will only leave a red stain that looks like you just applied a red lip tint on your lips.
