The HTC Desire 22 Pro is the company’s first “Viverse” phone. It has apps for accessing metaverse content, a crypto wallet for Ethereum and Polygon-based assets, and the ability to use NFT.

The device works with HTC’s lightweight Vive Flow VR headset. It has an HDCP 2.2 connection for wirelessly mirroring content to the VR headset and Vive Manager software for setting up and managing your VR devices.

Shen Ye, Global Head of Product at HTC, says that the phone “opens new immersive experiences as the perfect companion for VIVE Flow,” like meeting coworkers in VR or watching your own private theater wherever you are.

The processor is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G. It has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The screen is 6.6 inches and made of Gorilla Glass. It has a resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The phone also has a 4,520 mAh battery that can be charged quickly and wirelessly through Qi.

This is not HTC’s first crypto phone. In 2018, the company released the Exodus 1 smartphone, which had a built-in crypto hardware wallet and the ability to run a full Bitcoin node.
