As a diehard fan of tosta mista and meia de leite, I took the road less traveled yesterday and now I’m a convert to a new combination: toast with goat cheese, apple, and honey (topped with walnuts), accompanied by a blended drink of beets, apple, and ginger. Delicious! Even the bread was divine.
I ordered it at Quintal Bioshop, a hybrid café/shop: organic grocer in the front and veg*n café in the back. Located at the corner of Miguel Bombarda and Rosário in Cedofeita, they have homeopathy, naturopathy, workshops, and events (next one is a spring lunch, March 13 — check their page for details).
