A Music-Filled Day & Delicious Food Awaits You at Monkey Mic Family KTV

The place is called Monkey Mic. They opened their doors in 2016 and is the very first modern industrial gastropub KTV in the Philippines. You can find them on the second floor of Blk 3 Lot 8 Congressional Avenue Extension in Quezon City. Just look for a black-and-white signage and a cute monkey who looks like a blues musician.

When you enter Monkey Mic, you'll see a bar and a lounge area for guests who would like to dine and enjoy a drink or two. The KTV rooms are located at the back with entrances on both sides. Monkey Mic has a total of 15 private rooms that range in size. So whether you're with your significant other, friends, families or all of the above, you will surely find the perfect room!

Moreover, Monkey Mic offers affordable packages which come with a great selection of food to enjoy.

Thinking of celebrating? It is advisable to make a reservation for big groups and birthday parties - (0945)845 4086 but Monkey Mic does have VIP Party Packages you can choose from. Cool, eh?

So what about the food, you ask? Are they any good? Well, my fellow foodie friends and I were able to try the following:

Double Cheese Baked Mussel PHP320

Creamy Seafood Diablo PHP380

Beef Salpicao PHP450

Nachos Casserole PHP300

Game of Wings PHP550

All of the above are delicious. I just couldn't handle some because they were too spicy; however, I did enjoy eating them especially the Overload Pizza, Double Cheese Baked Mussel, Creamy Seafood Diablo and Nachos Casserole. I highly recommend these four especially the last one. Their Nachos Casserole is so creamy and flavourful.

With affordable packages, a range of KTV rooms plus great food selection, Monkey Mic is a great place to celebrate or simply have fun! The only problem I have is the smoking area. They have a sign at the lounge area that says, "Thank You For Not Smoking" which people follow. But outside at their entrance, I saw people smoking. If that's the designated area, then they're at the right place.

But you see, every time you open the door the smoke comes in. I have asthma and had a difficult time breathing when I was in the lounge area. Good thing, the KTV room we were assigned was already available. I just hope they address that part because it's really bad for everyone's health. And it is, after all, a family KTV.
