Story: A Man of Action starts when Lucio (Ballesta) learns about the corruption operating in Paris. He becomes part of a radical group trying to make change in France. The group starts committing bank robberies across the country, leading to a nationwide man hunt.
As the robberies become bigger, the chase to catch him increases. However, it becomes more difficult to prove how the checking scheme works, costing the banks millions.
Verdict on A Man of Action
A Man of Action is based on a true story about the real Lucio Urtubia. He created the connection with the anarchist who went about authority. Targeting one of the biggest banks counterfeiting checks to takes millions, leading to a chase to stop him before he gets away with the money.
This movie does have all of the vibes of ‘Catch Me If You Can’ taking us through a journey to see how much money one man can take before he gets caught. It flows in the same way and ends up going down the same path. Creating a criminal that becomes an icon because of how easily he played the system. This doesn’t bring too much fresh to the table, but does get the importance of what he did over in the story. He created change with his team and a legacy that will remain famous.
