Poll after poll has shown that the public doesn't approve of the job Donald Trump is doing -- and that they don't trust him. But there is another aspect of his presidency that also affects how people view his administration. They believe his foreign policy blunders will get us into a new war.
That's the view of 56% of Americans, while only 27% don't think he will get us into a new war -- a gap of 29 points. And that view is shared by all groups -- even groups that normally give Trump some support (like those over 65 and whites).
This chart was made with information in a new Economist / YouGov Poll -- done between June 11th and 13th of a random national sample of 1,500 adults (including 1,310 registered voters), with a 3.1 point margin of error.
