A lot of boot space, the whole family will come, this scooty will shake the electric scooter market.

Electric vehicle manufacturing company Kinetic Green has announced that it is working on a new family scooter. This new model is said to be launched in the next year and a half. This two-wheeler electric vehicle will come with practical features and will be useful for daily commuting. Note that Kinetic launched the electric version of Luna Moped in February this year.

The name of Kinetic Green's upcoming scooter has not been revealed. However, company officials indicated that it will be able to run at a speed of 80 km per hour. It will have large underseat storage and multiple battery options. The company's founder and CEO Sulja Firoda revealed their business plan at a media event.

Battery options ranging from 1.8 kWh to 3 kWh are being considered for the family electric scooter. In this regard, they are going to follow the path of Ola Electric and TVS Motor Company. Currently Kinetic Green has two models in its high speed two-wheeler portfolio – E-Luna and Flex Electric Scooty. Besides, the company will soon re-launch the Zulu e-scooter with a new name.

Kinetic is building a production plan at Supa in Maharashtra, which is spread over 42 acres of land. It will have an annual production capacity of 10 lakh two-wheelers. 40 percent women workers will be employed in the factory. The company has so far raised $25 million in Series A funding.
