“I was so lucky to get to do some Paris honeymoon photography for my wonderful couple Adrienne and John. They married on a Saturday in London at the beautiful Hampton Court Palace and on Tuesday I met them all over again in Paris! It seemed only appropriate for them to take their honeymoon here as Adrienne lived in the city of love for many years and if you met the two of them you’d swear they could be French.
We had a fabulous time despite the early start of sunrise, which is necessary I find in places like Paris, London, Tokyo and other major cities as you have to beat the tourists of course. One thing I absolutely adore about honeymoon photography is that you’re not racing off to a reception afterwards and everything has a more relaxed pace. So relaxed in fact that we stopped for breakfast in between locations and got some pretty funny looks from the people in the cafe!
After having my own portraits taken in Paris last year it was a thrill to return to photograph in this beautiful city. I was also very lucky to have the help of my good friend Katie Mitchell. An Australian photographer now living in Paris and shooting gorgeous couples all the time! She helped me with locations in this vast place and I always love getting to talk photography with a friend in a great place!
Adrienne’s gorgeous gown is by the talented Tatiana Porembova of London.”
My working style is super friendly, just like me – I’m relaxed and know that my number one job is to capture your relationship in the most unique and authentic manner possible. Nervous about posing? Don’t want to pose? Not an issue at all – I know how to get you two laughing, giggling and doing all kinds of cute things for my camera.
