A Homestyle Feast at dVin Seafood Chinese Restaurant

This past weekend, my family and I decided to take it slow-enjoy a relaxing drive and eat out. We don't get to do this often, only when time and budget allow. You might think we do it all the time because I post about it, but truthfully, I'm just catching up on posts when I can. Life and work have been pretty hectic! When I get the chance, I love taking my Ninong, sister, and her little ones out for a meal.
This time, we headed to dVin Seafood Chinese Restaurant, tucked inside the Kalayaan Centerpointe Bldg. along Kalayaan Avenue. We first came across the restaurant when we visited Old Baguio Heritage Café (also located in the same building). My Ninong had a chat with the owners, and they assured him that their food was worth a visit. So, we promised to return, and this weekend, we finally did.
The restaurant gave off a cozy, homey vibe with its simple yet charming decor, and it brought back memories of family meals around the round table. The staff were friendly and attentive, especially the male staff member who helped us with our orders (wish I got his name!). We decided to go for their rice bowls-regular and premium-as well as some dim sum. The rice bowls, priced between 200 to 250 Pesos, were generously portioned and incredibly flavorful. We couldn't stop ordering more because everything was so good! The dim sum was equally delicious, making this place a must-visit for anyone craving quality Chinese food at an affordable price.

Parking is available out front, but if it's full, you can head to their free basement parking. The building also has an elevator for easy access. All in all, our experience at dVin was perfect-great food, fast service, and friendly staff. We'll definitely be back!
