Recap

The movie follows a group of criminals looking to connect and escape from their latest job. However, they find themselves trapped between an ancient battle and must figure out how to escape. The battle will test them as they search for the best solution to save as many of them as possible.

Best Parts

The creature creations are great and make them stand out from many other monsters in movies. It has plenty of twists and turns along the way. This keeps us wondering what will happen next and how far the characters will need to survive. It feels like a great story with a lot more to offer, diving into the bigger history for the characters. The performances are fun and get the most out of the characters’ motivations.

Worst Parts

The story is interesting, and the discussion of the ancient war presents plenty of information. However, it could have easily explored the war between them more, rather than just the strangers in the middle of it.

Final ThoughtsA Hard Place is a twisted, bloody movie.
