Story: A Halloween Feast starts when Angela (Lowry) commits an act of violence to her husband. She is sent through Doctor Roger Park (D’Amato) to heal her and get her back to her family. Meanwhile, her daughter Karen (Coulter) is trying to take the next steps of her life, which sees her meet Mark (Branco).
In Angela’s path to recovery, she shows a much darker side leading up to an incident on Halloween night. It leads to a series of comedic moments to go along with her strange actions as everyone in the family has something new in life.
Verdict on A Halloween Feast
A Halloween Feast is a horror comedy following a recently retired disturbed woman who has a breakdown. Despite medical help to bring her back to society she ends up showing a much darker side to cover up her secrets.
This movie takes a horror comedy idea and runs with a wacky idea. For the most part, it focuses more on relationships before heading to a strange direction you would never imagine. It is twisted once we get there but seems oddly strange before getting there. This is one you could have some fun with but doesn’t seem to hit the chords it wants to put on the audience.
Where to Watch
Breaking Glass Pictures is releasing the horror comedy A HALLOWEEN FEAST at the Lumiere Music Hall in Los Angeles on August 9, and On Digital and On Demand September 10.
Final Thoughts – A Halloween Feast is an oddball horror comedy.
