Here is our quick guide to tomorrow's Glasgow's Whisky Festival, if you're lucky enough to have a ticket as it is now sold out!
With over 60 whisky stands, Glasgow's Whisky Festival is well, Glasgow's biggest whisky festival, showcasing whiskies from all over the world. Further stands will offer whisky-related art, books, food and other items. For sampling all that 'water of life' you'll get a Glencairn whisky glass on arrival but do remember to also drink lots of water and not get too drunk! You can also bring along items to donate to Drumchapel foodbank, swapping them for raffle tickets for a chance to win tickets to next year's festival. See here for details of the items you can bring.
The festival runs on Saturday the 11th November in two sessions. Session 1 will run from 12pm-4pm and Session 2 is from 5pm-9pm. Note that you are only permitted to enter 1 session so if you go in the afternoon and then try to also enter the evening session you will not be allowed in and your ticket will not be refunded!
The stadium is a five-minute walk from Mount Florida (on Cathcart and Neilston lines and occasional trains to Newton) and just a little bit further from Kings Park train station (on the Newton line).
