SSh it's time to start getting ready for Christmas. First up the ballot for tickets for The Christmas Lights Switch On.
The Christmas Lights Switch on takes place on Sunday 19 November and marks the start of Christmas in Glasgow.
The online ballot for tickets opens on Monday 2 October at 10.00am and closes on Sunday 19 October at 11.59pm. You have 2 weeks in which to apply. Keep an eye on our twitter or here on how to apply
The Style Mile Christmas Carnival brings music, dance Andy in to the heart of Glasgow on Sunday 26th November. A magical procession of festive characters come to life as they sprinkle their magic dust over the city centre.
Run the fun, festive 5K on Sunday 10th December with a Santa, or two! All in aid of charity, join the sea of santas n Glasgow city centre.

Baby's First Christmas celebration is a magical part of Christmas. The first 250 babies registered will be invited to the City Chambers to meet and have their picture taken with the Lord Provost. They will each receive a limited edition silver trinket to mark the occasion.
Applications are invited from babies born within the Glasgow City Council boundary taken on a first come first served basis.
