When you don't have enough rooms and your kids are still small, sharing a room is not a rare case. But still, kids would like to have their own separate areas where to feel good and have individual decoration according to their own preferences. I just came accross these inspiring kids room designs that can be helpful to solve this problem:

Each one of the kids has his/hers own private space, but they have also one shared zone.
But one of my favorite examples is this colourful kids' room with clearly defined personal zones separated by a curtain. Note the clever use of colour, wall painting and textiles to create enchanting atmosphere with very little investment!
