A first look at HTC First
HTC and Facebook on Thursday launched a budget Android smartphone dubbed as HTC First. According to India Times the pricing will be at US$99.9 which is about RM305. Quite cheap huh? However, I am unsure if the US$99.9 price is with contract or not.
The phone caters specially to the social network loving people.Under the hood it is powered by a Dual-core 1.4 GHz Krait processor, an Adreno 305 GPU and powered by Android v4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. It is also the first device to be equipped with Facebook’s HOME UI. It has 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage which is expandable via microSD. The 4.3-inch Super LCD capacitive touchscreen produces a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels (16M colours, ~342 ppi pixel density) and is equipped with a Li-Po 2000 mAh battery. At the rear it has a 5MP main camera and a 1.6MP front facing one. The main camera is at 2592×1944 pixels resolution, has autofocus and LED flash. It is also able to shoot video at 1080p@30fps. The HTC First measures at 126 x 65 x 8.9 mm (4.96 x 2.56 x 0.35 in) and weighs at 123.9 g (4.34 oz).
