It was chilly today (about 12C), but the sun brought out the surfers, exercisers, and beach walkers. I actually spent more time in Mercado de Matosinhos and around town than at the beach, but I didn’t bring out the camera the entire day, until it was time to go. I like seeing (and shooting) Matosinhos Beach when it’s quiet, though, because much of the year it’s not. Once the weather warms up, the patios fill up, the fish restaurants resume street grilling, and everyone heads for the sand, it’ll be back to its regular hum. Until then, enjoy the peace.
