Verdict on A Family Affair
A Family Affair is a comedy following a desperate hotel manager trying to sell to clear his debts. However, the auction leads to a string of mishaps when family visit and potential investors reveal their plans for the hotel.
This is a wacky comedy that clearly feels like it is inspired by ‘Fawlty Towers’. It is filled with the shenanigans of a British sitcom that delivers the laughs throughout. We even get a serious side to the struggles of marriage and the pressure it places on people. Joe Wilkinson’s dry humor comes through well, as his character deals with the different problems occurring.
