A Doubles Tennis Drill: Overcoming Age And Mobility Issues On The Court

The old adage, "tennis is a lifetime sport" is true. You can enjoy tennis at any age and still improve.

Today, I'm working with John and Lucy (80 and 77 years young, respectively) on how to overcome age and mobility issues with the simple concept of keeping your weight on the balls of your feet. When you're flat-footed it takes longer to get to the ball because you have to get your weight up then move to the ball. Keeping in motion on the balls of feet eliminates that problem. If you feel you're always one step away from the ball, this will significantly help! No pickleball for these two!

My goal is to give all of you the tips and tools you need to be the best tennis players you can be (no matter your age!) so if you need help with your game, DON'T BE SHY! Tell me about it in the comments section below and I'll address it in a future video! Also, be sure and share my posts with your tennis friends, and connect with me onand Youtube!
