Located in the 10th arrondissement, the Generator Paris hostel offers design-savvy budget accommodations. Under the creative direction of Anwar Mekhayech of the Toronto firm Design Agency, a 1985 office building was gutted and transformed. "The overarching goal or narrative was to create a journey of spaces that were all different and unexpected, keeping with the brand style of industrial undertones matched with creative moments and bold moves," Mekhayech says.
