A Day with My Little Man

By Blondie @heyblondieblog
Welcome to Day 5 of Getting My Groove Back!
If you are just joining me you can catch up here.
Friday I was able to take a day off work and spend the day with my little man. He was going on his very first field trip! We went to the pumkin patch in Cullman.
Feeding the animals at the petting zoo was so much fun. He has no fear and would have jumped in the pens if they would have allowed him to.

Here he is riding the "train" with one of his buddies.

On our way to get his pumpkin! He was just a little bit excited about this whole day!
A Day with My Little Man
Found the perfect one! At first he wanted a really big one but there were so many small ones just his size that he changed his mind.

Miss LeeAnn and Miss Aly singing the pumpkin song during lunch. These are OM's teachers and they are pretty awesome! OM loves going to school!

So I will prefice this with Dagwood and I have strong willed children.
After lunch I tell OM he has to try to potty before we leave. He can finish his chips on the way home. He decides to stand his ground and not even try. I say no chips unless he at least tries because we have a 45 minute ride home and he has drank a lot of water and juice up to this point.
Nope..not gonna happen. So on the way back to the car he realizes that his mean momma is not going to give him his chips back since he did not try. So what does this precious child do you might ask?
Screams I. WANT. MY. CHIPS! 35 of the 45 minute ride home! What the kids haven't quite figured out yet is that they get their genes from us so dad and mom can typically hold old much longer. Unless it is a frazzled, at the end of my rope kind of day. He stopped screaming and I look back to see this.

Yep, screamed himself to sleep! Nite-nite sweet boy, nite-nite!
