Verdict on A Day and a Half

A Day and a Half is an action thriller following a negotiator who gets drawn into a hostage situation. He finds himself dealing with a hostage situation that is more down to custody of a child and must use his skills to keep things calm. However, the case becomes more difficult when he learns the bigger problems between the couple.

This is a tense movie that uses the hostage situation to put us on the edge of our seats. The calm nature that Lukas keeps through the situation is amazing. This helps keep the tension situation on an even larger knife edge. It is an excellent display of suspense that keeps us on edge, without drawing into massive arguments between hostage taker and negotiator. Deep down this ends up showing there is a human situation between everyone involved.

Where to Watch: A Day and a Half is available on Netflix now.

Final ThoughtsA Day and a Half is a tense, suspenseful thriller that keeps us on edge throughout.
