A Cosy Night In

Hello Freckles Takeaway with JUST EAT Sometimes we all need a takeaway, yes they're not the healthiest option but they're tasty. I don't often have takeaways, though recently Andy and I have opted for a couple - I'm a bit of a sucker for a chip butty with gravy and batter, especially from the chippy round the corner from his house. It's just convenient.
This is the second time we've used JUST EAT to order a takeaway and funnily enough, both times we've opted for Indian. We've tried two different places now, both times going off the ratings and feedback from others which is really useful. You wouldn't want to stay somewhere with bad reviews, so equally you wouldn't order food from somewhere if it seems a bit iffy. At the end of the day, different people might be looking for specific tastes, or preferences so I always take foodie reviews with a pinch of salt (how punny of me!)
It would be great if there were mexican restaurants offering delivery in our area, but none were available. Since I'm not really a fan of takeaway pizza, Indian was the next best idea and I do enjoy a good curry.I'm a big fan of the extras and sides you can add to a curry. Last time I had samosas and they were absolutely huge, but bhajis are always a winner too. A must have for me is naan bread and peshwari will always be my top choice. In terms of the actual curry, I'm pretty open to suggestions. I had a chicken tikka bhuna masala when we ordered this one you can see in the photos above, but I'm pretty fond of a korma, biryani or rogan josh. As much as I like spicy food, I've not tried any of the hot curries - I'll save any heat for mexican food! Hello Freckles Takeaway with JUST EAT NaanHello Freckles Takeaway with JUST EAT Curry Hello Freckles Takeaway with JUST EAT Hello Freckles Takeaway with JUST EAT
For me, the best part is getting into your pjs (or onesie) and being all cosy, knowing the takeaway delivery guy is on his way and it's so easy to order with JUST EAT. If you want to pay when they arrive, you can opt to do so or (and this is the method I prefer) pay online then there's no fumbling for coins and rushing to the nearest cashpoint, or worrying about whether to tip or not.
When did you last order a takeaway?

JUST EAT provided a generous code to purchase our takeaway, but rest assured all opinions are my own. Believe me, I wouldn't lie about food!
