Filming Davina and Dave was such a pleasure. Not only was their wedding venue (Whitley Hall near Sheffield) stunning, they were so in love it was completely infectious! They couldn’t stop looking in to each others eyes or stealing a quick kiss and this meant I could get some real swoon worthy shots. Oh, and then there’s that amazing Ian Stuart wedding dress…
I started the morning with Davina and her family while they got ready for the long day ahead. Davina’s make up looked incredible thanks to the very talented Lauren Sally (based in Leeds) and even I ended up chatting make up after she found out I used Dior foundations! The boys had fun getting ready at Whitley Hall and before we knew it we were heading there ourselves. That’s when the nerves really set in and I melt every time I watch Dave’s face waiting for his bride…
Davina said “Prior to the day I was a bit nervous about being videoed and photographed during the preparations but can honestly say that it didn’t even enter my head as the amazing Charlene from Love Gets Sweeter and Nicola Thompson put me totally at ease and I actually on occasions forgot that they were there.”
The ceremony was beautiful and I couldn’t take my eyes off the bride and groom as Dave was so emotional-and Davina’s Ian Stewart wedding gown was just as amazing from the back with that huge bow! After the ceremony guests were treated to canapés while Nicola Thompson went about doing the group photographs. We then snuck off with Davina and Dave to get some amazing images as the sun went down in the stunning gardens of Whitley Hall.
