If the Commissioner’s  Trophy wasn’t enough in 2016, looks like the Mirror Ball Trophy might be another win for Chicago in 2017.

David Ross, former Chicago Cubs catcher and 2016 World Series champion, will be the first baseball player in history to compete on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars. The retired Major Leaguer will dance alongside Lindsay Arnold as his coach.

Ross certainly has an impressive career behind him, breaking a record as the oldest player to hit a home run during Game 7 of the 2016 World Series. Since he began his MLB career, he has played for the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Cincinnati Reds, the Atlanta Braves, the Boston Red Sox, the Pittsburgh Pirates, and the San Diego Padres.

Many NFL players have been cast as contestants on the show, with a few being former Chicago Bears players. It’ll be interesting to see how a baseball player fares in comparison. We’ll see if Ross still has that winner’s streak when he hits the dance floor on Monday, March 20. Go Cubs!

Here are the other personalities competing this season on Dancing With the Stars:

Simone Biles (Olympic gold medalist)
Bonner Bolton (Pro bull rider)
Charo (TV actress and comedian)
Chris Kattan (Former Saturday Night Live comedian)
Erika Jayne (Real Housewives of Beverly Hills)
Heather Morris (TV actress from Glee)
Mr. T (Former wrestler and actor)
Nancy Kerrigan (Olympic figure skater)
Normani Kordei (pop star from Fifth Harmony)
Rashad Jennings (NFL running back)
Nick Viall (ABC’s The Bachelor)
