Blogging is fun. I enjoy writing short stories, book reviews, restaurant reviews or regular blogs. But since I am the only contributor to the blog, sometimes the site gets aligned in one direction and could become monotonous.
In our day-to-day life, we avoid such monotonous existence by socializing. Just like in life, socializing is a big part of blogging. Therefore, to appreciate the variety of blogs out there and honouring all the wonderful writers out there, many bloggers participate in various Blog Hopping events.
The concept of Blog hopping is that you can be a co-contributor to someone else’s blog on a theme topic and you host other similar participants on your blog by following the theme. It is a fun way to check out others’ blogs, get inspired to write on a different topic from your genre and you get new readers on your blog too.
By participating in events like these, bloggers get more exposure to others’ contents and learn to write better. We can also get new readers and critics who could help us improve on our content. It is an interesting and interactive way to keep the blog and our writing mind alive and active.
This month, I am participating in this Summer Blog Hop, on the theme – Bookish blogs. In honor of that, I shall not post any of my regular content throughout the month. I shall try and share the contents from other participants on my blog. In that way, you can check out new authors who have a similar blog topics as me, and get new content to read
The first post of the Hop is out today on the topic – Which Book Do You Wish You’d Written?. It is hosted by Jo Linsdell, who is the creator and admin of the Hop. Please check out the blog. I have contributed my wish-book in the blog. Check it out to know which book I wished I had written.
Happy Summer everyone! Don’t forget to read more this summer.
