Star Jasmine grows quite well in sheltered areas of the UK, but it wasn’t until I saw this magnificent cloud of flowers enveloping a tree trunk and ascending into its branches that I realised quite how spectacular it can be in perfect growing conditions. This plant must have been five foot across in places and fifteen foot high and needless to say it smelt divine.
