Today it is difficult to find a person with a smartphone who does not use the Telegram messenger - it is convenient, versatile and allows you to keep in touch with people around the world for free. But at the same time, the majority uses a standard application, which, of course, copes with the task, but loses to third-party programs in terms of a set of functions and capabilities. So I decided to talk about the best third-party applications that will provide more freedom, flexibility in settings, or just those features that the original client has not yet (or never) implemented.
iMe Messenger
We can safely say that iMe Messenger is Telegram at maximum speed. In addition, the application has built-in IPTV, which works just fine - you can watch entertainment channels, sports programs and much more. And here you can also create a playlist of your favorite music, so that later you can listen to it directly in the application - very convenient for those who have not yet touched the world of streaming services.

It may not have as many features as the competition, but there is nothing superfluous either.

If the user needs not just a messenger, but something much more functional, it is worth taking a closer look at Graph Messenger. The application was equipped with a separate advanced download manager and a tab with files from all channels, there is also a separate single content feed, the ability to change the voice when sending voice messages, protecting chats with a password or fingerprint, and much more. There is even the possibility of tracking a contact - the application will notify when the user is online, as well as save changes to the profile (avatar, phone number or name). It remains only to figure it all out.

Telegram itself and by default is pretty secure, but if the user needs an extra layer of protection, then BGram will gladly provide it. The authors of Rugram decided not to burden the user with an abundance of functions that he probably will not need anywhere. At the same time, the application interface is as simple as possible and almost does not differ from the original program, but, on the other hand, the developer did not provide anything surprising in terms of functions. So this is software for those who are satisfied with the original set of features, but want to hide correspondence and personal files with a password.

ForkGram
The creators of ForkGram have taken the original app and tweaked it a bit, improving some features. For example, you can forward messages with the original post time (shows only users of the same app), turn off app access to the camera, quickly jump to the first message in a chat, or pin an unlimited number of chats to the main menu. You can also start recording video immediately from the main camera of the smartphone. An ideal solution for those who are satisfied with the original interface and functions, but want a little more features.

❌ Disadvantages:
TurboTel
Another application, the developers of which decided not to touch the basic functions and the original interface, focusing on small but very important improvements. Here you can open chats in separate tabs, block and hide chats, go to the first message in the chat with one click. You can also connect up to ten accounts, change the voice when sending voice messages, display changes in user profiles, send messages to bookmarks and set a background for each individual chat. Nothing incredible - just additional features beyond the basic functions.

Telegram X
It should be noted right away that it is worth installing the beta version of the Telegram X application, since the stable branch has not been updated since November last year. In the beta client, the user receives a stable release of updates with fixes for many problems and integration of innovations, while the software uses the TDLib library, so that the transfer of information, downloading files and simply sending text messages is faster than on the official client. Of the interesting features, it is worth highlighting the flexible appearance settings (there are more parameters than the original software), while the interface design is simple and understandable.
