Looks like 9-1-1- on Fox is a hit!
Fox’s new drama series starring Angela Bassett has just been renewed for a second season according to Deadline.
With just two shows in, and a debut episode that gave the network its highest premiere since Empire in 2015, this was a no brainer.
Written and produced by Ryan Murphy, 9-1-1 explores the high-pressure experiences of police officers, firefighters and emergency operators who are thrust into the most frightening, shocking and heart-stopping situations. These first responders must try to balance saving those who are at their most vulnerable with solving the problems in their own lives. The series also stars Peter Krause, Connie Britton, Oliver Stark, Aisha Hinds and Rockmond Dunbar.
The drama series airs Wednesday nights on Fox at 9/8c
