$8 Parking at O’Hare Airport

By Urbanmatter Chicago @UMatterChicago

When it comes to airport parking, the rates these days can rival that of an airplane ticket. At the Genie, we know parking, and we’ll be the first to tell you that we want no part of the ridiculous pricing. Why? Because you don’t want that either.

Given this, we’d like to introduce you to a better alternative, PreFlight.

PreFlight is a state-of-the-art parking facility with locations around the country. Obviously, they specialize in airport parking, but with a few unique differences. First off, their rates are second to none. As with all of our specials, you have the option to reserve online, and the prices are always better than what you’ll see when you pull up to the garage.

Here are the current rates at the time of publication:

  • Roof Top – $8 per day
  • Economy Covered (2 & 3) – $9 per day
  • Premium Covered (1st floor) – $10 per day

$8 will go a long way here. To do the math for you, a week’s vacation will net you only $56 in parking. That’s a flippin’ steal.

There are other reasons to choose PreFlight, of course. How about clean, well-lit bathrooms? Yeah, those actually exist in public places. Other amenities include complimentary WI-FI, computers for printing your boarding pass, bottled water, tire inflation, jump starts, and coffee.

Hate walking? That’s fine. PreFlight has a shuttle that departs every 4-6 minutes around the clock. The lot isn’t quite on site, but it’s about as close as you’ll get. And for this price, it’s worth a short 7-12 minute bus ride.

Big airport lots can get a little creepy too. PreFlight O’Hare allows you to come back to a safe, secure, well-lit garage. A better lot? It’s a LOT better.

Still not convinced? Take a look at this video and you’ll see what all the fuss is about.
