By Kravelv @kravelv

Most people find solace in home, irrespective of whether it’s a rented apartment or their own home. They love to add and upgrade furniture to make the place more than a walled space. However, most of the times, we realize that the stuff we look out for is either expensive or might need heavy tools to install, which is not worth the investment and the effort. To solve this problem, we have provided 8 easy ways to upgrade your rental home. You can use these easy and cost-effective ways and give your house for rent in Bangalore a homely feeling.

  1. Cushions

Cushions are cozy and give a comfortable feeling to anyone. Also, more number of cushions organized in a proper manner add a different look to the room. These are cheap and can be kept anywhere in the house. So, get some colorful cushions and place them over a mattress or a rug to make a nice floor sit-out in the living room. 1. Lights

If you can play with lights, then there is nothing that can beat the oomph factor you can bring into your home. Take some bottles, which you want to throw off and add some lights to it, or make your own night lamp with craft paper. You can make a chandelier with different bottles or paper sheets hung with strings and decorated with lights; these will definitely add a different note of luxury to your apartment.

  1. DIY Cartons

We all buy something or the other online, and then mostly throw the cartons away. What if we say you can use these to decorate your room? Paint these cartons, stick craft papers of different color, make a rack to keep stuff or make a simple shoe keeping area out of it. All these will accentuate the room, as they act as room decor at no extra cost.

  1. Balcony Sit-Out

If you have a balcony, then add some chairs or stools to it. If you do not wish to spend money on the furniture, then simply add a mattress and some cushions. You can keep some cartons of the same height, cover it with wood or mattress and add some cushions on it. This small cozy sit out in the balcony will make your rented home look more than the next-door PG or rental home.

  1. Curtains

A nice and a beautiful way to accentuate your home is to add different curtains to your room or living room or the area you wish to beautify. Curtains give a different look to the room and proper curtains add to the luxurious feel.
