Regular Girlstuff nail polish bottles in Machiatto, Blush, Lemon Rocks and Plink on the right.
I used to love painting my nails. A lot. I never really got around to being an expert manicurist, but ever since I was a kid I've always found painted nails pretty. Much can be said about painting little kids' fingernails, though, so my mom wouldn't really let me paint them as often as I wanted. Good thing there are products that are great even for children right? JSYK, Girlstuff is a kiddie kikay brand in the Philippines that has been around for several years. Their grooming products for little girls are designed to fulfill growing kids' need to explore and satisfy their curiosity. Of course, personal grooming makes for a great mother-daughter bonding time, too. Here comes the rave.
7. They offer kid-friendly products. Imagine my surprise when I found out that nail polish can be water-based. Girlstuff's washable collection comes in four colors: baby pink, fuschia, purple and red. The collection's special water-based formula makes it easy for youngsters to remove the dried up polish from their nails. Just prepare a bit of soap, some water and a good amount of elbow grease to remove. No more acetone or acetone-free nail polish removers that have strong odors. So mommies, the washable nail polish are highly recommended for your kids! Girlstuff also offers cool kid-friends gift packs from time to time, like this box of Carmen, Joanne and Joy mini bottles: 6. Girlstuff nail polish are free from chemicals that cause yellow nails. Girlstuff nail polish do not contain the three harmful chemicals usually found in nail polish. There's no formaldehyde, no toluene, no di-butyl phthalate. Since these chemicals are toxic and carcinogenic, your nails will thank you for using Girlstuff nail polish, which are non-toxic, apply streak-free, dry quicker than most brands and do not cause nail damage. Hey, my poor fingernails are already quite brittle from some unknown health condition. I shouldn't make things worse for my nails, and neither should anyone for theirs. 5. Each bottle has an expiration date printed on the bottom. One of the best things about the bottles apart from design is the information printed on the bottom. Lately I've been serious about following expiration dates and even lid symbols to ensure that the stuff I use are still in good condition. In this case, though, the nail polish expiration date helps in letting me know when to toss them out (guilt-free this time). After a long search on the Internet, I have come to realize that extreme heat and cold temperatures can affect nail polish quality (and shelf life). Just like any other cosmetic product, we need to store nail polish in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Refrigerating the bottles can cause air bubbles, too, so it's always better to just stash bottles inside plastic containers. 4. More than 40 colors are available. Just check these out:Some cool clear nail polish
Beautiful and festive shimmery paints

More shimmery colors

Enough said. 3. Products are super cheap! Girlstuff nail polish come straight from France, and they're carefully bottled and packaged here in the Philippines. Each regular bottle contains 11ml of product, enough to last anyone for months. Prices range from Php99.75 to Php249.75, depending on the product line. For imported nail polish that don't contain harmful chemicals, I think Girlstuff's products offer good value. 2. The magnetic line is cool. I adore the magnetic nail polish! The fine glitter is very pretty, and the swirl design gorgeous. I wish there'd be more colors to choose from this collection, but currently there are only three: Pixie, Ice Queen and Vixen.I chose Ice Queen, a beautiful shimmery blue, and Vixen, a vampy red.
After playing with the magnets and the colors, I decided that Ice Queen with the swirly design is my favorite nail art combo. I just hope they offer other designs on the magnets soon.Makes nail art easy.
