7 Must Have 2018 Summer Fashion Items

By Meghashop @kumarisapna11
After doing our research during the recent fashion month, it is now time to plan our summer wardrobe. The latest collections featured some of last year’s trends which are still going strong, but we also got the chance to see an abundance of new trends. So, if you plan on turning the streets into your own personal catwalk, here are the must have items that you will be needing this summer. 7 Must Have 2018 Summer Fashion Items

1. Tube tops

What better way is there to show off your sun-kissed shoulders than with a trendy tube top. This is a classic piece that resurfaces every summer, but this year the Tube Tops have been reinvented, featuring a looser cut, which gives them a strong bohemian, festival vibe. You can pair the tube top with a straw hat and a maxi skirt, and you’ve got yourself a stylish yet comfortable look that you can wear on any hot summer day.

2. Sequins

This summer, get ready to shine as bright as the sun, as most of the latest collections have featured an abundance of sequins. For a glamorous appearance at a summer party, opt for an opulent gold sequins dress, paired with an abundance of gold and pearl accessories. However, sequins are not just for parties and evening looks. With enough attention to details, you can easily integrate sequins in a casual day look. For example, you can pair a sequins skirt with a casual printed sweatshirt, or you can combine a sequins top with a pair of ripped jeans. No matter what you choose, one thing is for sure: you will never pass unnoticed when you wear sequins.

3. Plastic

While it may not be the eco-friendliest trend, we can’t ignore the fact that plastic clothes will be very popular this year. They have been featured in numerous collections, from Chanel to Burberry and Fendy, and they are the types of clothes that will make a strong impression on any occasion. Nonetheless, keep in mind that plastics will be uncomfortable to wear on hot days, so opt for pieces that you can wear in the evening, such as jackets or statement party dresses. Pair transparent plastic clothes with opulent silver accessories to give your look a futuristic vibe.

4. Bright colors

Most summer collections feature bright colors, but this year’s trends involve wearing a bold color from head to toe. Whether we are talking about a bright yellow suit, a fuchsia dress or a red jumpsuit, this summer is perfectly acceptable to go crazy with bright colors. Complete your look with accessories in the same shade as the main piece of clothing.

5. Transparencies

From diaphanous coats, to sheer dresses, skirts and short, the catwalks were dominated by transparent pieces at the latest fashion shows, so we certainly can’t ignore this trend. The good news is that transparent clothes are not difficult to wear, and they are perfect for hot summer days. Just make sure to wear them with the right undergarments.

6. Ruffles

Whether or not you have a feminine style, it is essential to own at least one ruffled piece of clothing this summer. You can shoot two trends with one piece of clothing if you invest in a sheer ruffled dress, which will turn you into the focal point of attraction at the next party. If you are not a fan of feminine clothes, opt for aruffled Victorian shirt which you can combine with a leather or a latex pair of pants for an eccentric look.

7. Glitter shoes

If you have ever fantasized about a Cinderella moment, this summer is your chance to turn your dream into reality. From silver sequin Mary Janes to green glitter stilettos, this summer you can choose from an abundance of shiny shoes. This type of shoes tends to have a strong glam vibe, but they are not meant strictly for elegant evening looks. You can wear them during the day as well, as long as you tone their glam vibe with some sport or casual pieces.
