Due to the multi-million pound redevelopment of Ponteland Leisure Centre, the football club have moved just up the road and set up a new home at Ponteland High School. My visit to Ponteland United in January 2008 featured in ‘Around The Alliance - part one’, which you can read here.
Since that visit eleven years ago, Pont were Premier Division champions for the first time in 2010-11 and spent three seasons in the First Division, following relegation in 2012.

The ground is fully enclosed and rallied on all sides. There is a pair of wooden dugouts and one side, with the players using the school facilities for changing rooms.
