Tecno has recently confirmed that they will showcase several new technologies and devices at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2024 (MWC 2024) event. The event is scheduled to take place later this month in Barcelona, ​​Spain. It is rumored that the brand will take the wraps off the Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G smartphone and the Megabook T16 Pro 2024 Ultra notebook at MWC. Earlier now, the upcoming Pova series phone has received approval from Thailand’s NBTC, indicating that it will make its official debut in the country soon. Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G gets NBTC approval

A Tecno phone with model number LI9 has been approved by the National Broadcasting and Telecommunication Commission Authority of Thailand. The said device was earlier spotted on the Google Play Console and Bluetooth SIG certification database with the name Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G. However, NBTC’s listing does not mention anything about the specifications of the device.

According to the Google Play Console listing, the Tecno Pova 6 Pro will feature a FullHD+ display and MediaTek Dimension 6080 chipset. Also, the device will offer 12 GB of RAM and will run on Android 14 operating system. Earlier this month, the handset was also approved by the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) authorities, which revealed the phone’s rear panel design and some specifications.

According to the FCC listing, the Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G phone will come with 12GB RAM, 256GB in-built storage and 70W wired charging support. The device is likely to support a 6,000 mAh battery. For security, it is expected to have a side-facing fingerprint scanner. Besides, the rear panel of the Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G will feature a dual-camera system with quad-LED flash, though specifics regarding the configuration of both the front and rear cameras are yet to be revealed.
