By the time Ty and Kelly Milford had purchased modernist architect Saul Zaik's wood-clad Feldman House in Southwest Portland, a succession of subsequent alterations had marred much of its original design. With its dramatically cantilevered, low-pitched gable roof, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, and numerous openings to the outside world, the current home underscores Zaik's achievement while also containing a few necessary contemporary additions.
