It has been 50 years since the first Shelby Cobra 427 hit the road. To celebrate this anniversary, Shelby American offered a limited edition of the 427. Only 50 of these bad boys were available and they all came with special gold 50th anniversary badging, logos and features. They were offered with either aluminium or fiberglass bodies. The aluminium cares were offered in a polished finish with or without brushed stripes, or Guardsman Blue with Wimbledon white stripes. The fiberglass bodies only had the option for the Guardsman blue and Wimbledon white stripes but it is still worth it.
