Growing up in Dallas has really influenced everything from my personality, the way I do things and also my personal style. I learned at an early age that when it comes to fashion in Dallas, you should always plan for the weather (Texas is HOT or COLD), climate control indoors does not exist (jackets are always necessary, regardless of the season) and denim, like this pair from Old Navy, is the perfect wardrobe staple to take from day to night.
The style in Dallas is put together yet laid back and accepting. Some dress up, some prefer to be more casual but for me, I am always most comfortable in the middle. Like the majority, I prefer to build my look around denim. You can start your day with Old Navy jeans, booties and a casual tee and easily transition from the coffee shop to a happy hour with friends. People in Dallas love everything from the arts to fashion and those loves are reflected in their everyday style.
